Political scientist: Trump may visit Hungary soon
Political scientist Zoltán Kiszelly said that there was a chance that Donald Trump would visit Hungary before the presidential elections. He also shared the expected date of the extraordinary event. Find more details in the article.
We reported last week that prime minister Viktor Orbán gave the keynote speech at the CPAC 2022 in Dallas, Texas. “We should unite our forces,” he told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last Thursday. “We Hungarians know how to defeat the enemies of freedom on the political battlefield,” the prime minister added.
“Hungary is an old, proud, but David-sized nation standing alone against the Woke Globalist Goliath,” he said. “We invite the solidarity of the American conservatives.” “We must take back the institutions in Washington and Brussels,” he declared. “We must find friends and allies in one another.”
Earlier, Orbán and Trump met at the former US president’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. They even shared a couple of photos together.
Zoltán Kiszelly, the political director of the government-close think tank Századvég, said the two politicians had a good rapport. Therefore, he suggested that Trump might even visit Hungary before the presidential elections.
He told blikk.hu that the midterms in the USA would be in November. He added that the results would strengthen the Republicans’ loyalty toward Trump. They have a good opinion of Orbán and his party. That is why Conservative Political Action (CPA) invited the Hungarian prime minister to Dallas. Trump did not announce yet whether he would run for the presidency again. However, the relationship between the two leaders will increase Orbán’s prestige in the United States and the White House, Kiszelly argued.
The political scientist said that the challenges were alike everywhere in the world. The gender ideology, the climate ideology and the anti-family attitudes are present both in Hungary and the USA. Trump and the Hungarian government share the same approach: sticking to traditional values can tackle most of these issues.
Kiszelly did not exclude that Trump may come to Hungary before the elections.
The CPAC’s venue this spring was Budapest, and the Hungarian capital may even host the event in the following year again.
If Trump decides to come, he may visit his third wife, Melania’s family, in Slovenia or meet his friend, Matteo Salvini. In that case, there is a good chance that the former US president will stop by Hungary on his way.

With the amount of legal cases he is engulfed in I doubt that he will be going anywhere soon apart from jail perhaps.
Not if he’s banged up he won’t be, here’s hoping!
Why don’t Hungarians see that Orban is running out of friends, hence those who support his version of Hungary. Poland and Czech Republic are gone. Boris and LePen are gone. Italy is gone. All of his “friends”, Putin and Trump are accussed and soon convicted criminals. If is true that Orban thinks it is Hungary against the world with grifters Trump and Putin in his corner, than Hungary is in a bad place.
Remember Hungary, you picked the loosers in WW1, WW2 and now are siding with the Russians who brought you 1956 and the Terror Museum.
You poor fools – it’s the left including Soros are it to destroy him going 7 years.
You have the entire federal goverment working against him- they have spent over a 100 million trying and he is more popular than ever. There would not have been a Ukraine war if had been in office-
and is the only person who save the US from falling more corrupt. Biden and the anti Obran make a good team. There also would not be a gas problem. The US was exporting gas when Biden ended it his first day and there was plenty more for Europe – trump stopped the north stream line to Germany -but they knew better.
@TM, you talk about “poor fools”. Please explain what Soros had to to do with what we now know was 25 boxes of classified information that Trump removed from the White House and stored in his basement in Florida illegally. It was illegal under The Presidential Re4cords Act (PRA) 1978 and can carry a jail term of up to 3 years. It is you and your ilk that are brainwashed into thinking that Soros is behind everything. Trump removed classified information of his own free will. Next, what has Soros got to do with Trump falsifying his tax records? Nothing is the answer. Do you approve of people acting illegally?
@The above two comments:
It just goes to show us all what one man’s psychological fixation on Soros (as being the ill of all of HU – and the perhaps rest of the world) can can be succesfully propogated to make a lot of HU believe that Soros is the devil reincarnate with so much power that he can influence everything in HU – maybe even the weather. 🙂 😀
